About Kara

Kara Mayer Robinson, MA, LMHC, LPCC, is a licensed psychotherapist, TV & film consultant, on-set therapist, mental health advisor and creator and host of Really Famous with Kara Mayer Robinson.

After graduating with a Master of Arts from Columbia University in New York, NY, Kara built a thriving private therapy practice in New York and Los Angeles, where she has helped people in entertainment, sports, music and business live their happiest, healthiest, most successful lives.

Kara has become a go-to for Hollywood talent and creatives. A celebrity favorite, Kara has gained the trust of top talent and entertainment professionals. She’s on speed-dial for many well-known Hollywood insiders and often brings A-listers onto her celebrity talk show, Really Famous with Kara Mayer Robinson, which airs as a podcast and YouTube series, to talk about real struggles in their personal and professional lives.
